Company Profile

Established in 1997, Pragati Leather Craft Pvt. Ltd. has been manufacturing leather goods such as laptop bags, messenger bags, crossbody bags, sling bags and travel bags for both men and women. We also make small leather goods such as wallets, card holders, key holders and travel accessories. The company is being run by two young and dynamic brothers, Anirudh Pasari and Rishi Pasari, whose primary vision is being committed to the highest quality with special attention to every little detail in the manufacturing process.

We sell our products in all major countries of Europe such as Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Austria and others.

Manufacturing Facilities

We own two facilities in the city of Kolkata, India. One unit is located in the central part of Kolkata covering an area of 1700 square metres. The other unit is located in the Leather Complex in Bantala covering an area of 4300 square metres. With a strength of 600 – 700 workers in our facilities, we can manufacture upto 6000 bags and upto 35000 wallets and other small leather goods per month.

In order to improve the efficiency of our production, we use the latest machinery available in our industry. Some of the machines that we use are as follows:

  • Stitching Machines from Adler / PFAFF / Mitsubishi / Juki
  • Computerized Stitching and 2 MM Thread Stitching Machine
  • Optitex AutoCAD Machines for patterns
  • Semi-Automatic Machines for faster output and consistent quality

Quality

Our team of trained personnel with hands-on experience in leather goods carry out periodic quality control checks at various stages of manufacturing process. 

We use the latest production technology & machines from Italy & Germany to produce around 6000 bags and upto 35000 pcs of accessories each month.

All our leather products adhere to stringent testing parameters followed in European countries. All our products are manufactured without recourse to child labour and in social compliance with all EU-regulations.
